Canoe Trip – Where: Meet at ISS Office – L.R. Wilson Room 1811(Ceremony Room – LR 1025) then walking to bus *Pre-registration required*

Canoe Trip on The Grand River 

When: Friday September 1st, 9:30a.m. –  4 pm (Pre-Registration required) 

Where: Meeting at ISS (L.R. Wilson room 1025 (LRW 1025) and then walking to bus 

Who: Indigenous students 

What: By tradition, the ISS Welcome Week ends with a trip to Chiefswood Park, located on the nearest reserve – Six Nations of The Grand River – for a canoe trip down the Grand River. This will be a guided tour and no canoe experience is required, though students who sign up are expected to know how to swim as this is a requirement by Welcome Week, ISS, and Chiefswood Park. Lunch will be provided. This is our closer to Welcome Week, and we can’t wait to see you there!
