Ready to apply? Submit your application on the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC). The recommended OUAC Application Deadline for Fall 2025 applicants will be in early January 2025.

Offer Timelines: Current Ontario High School Students
Late February/Early March
First round of offers begin to roll out.
Based on final grades in a minimum of three 4U/M courses and registration in any remaining required 4U/M courses (for a minimum of six courses), OR grades from six interim 4U/M courses (inclusive of required courses).
Late April/Early May
Second round of offers begin to roll out.
Based on grades in six 4U/M courses (inclusive of required courses).
Late February/Early March
Offers are made on a rolling basis and will continue to be sent out into May.
A minimum of three Grade 12 courses, with interim or final grades, and registration in any remaining required courses must be provided for an assessment to be made.
2+2 Consortium Students: Mohawk and Lambton College
Recommended Deadline: April 1- Students can apply to transfer on OUAC under the heading “Upper Year Programs” when browsing the McMaster program choices (some scrolling down is needed).
- Under the Faculty of Social Sciences, students can select the BA Above Level 1 (OUAC program code MQ) or BA Honours Above Level 1 (program code MT) options, listing Indigenous Studies as their “Subject of Interest” from the drop down menu.
Consortium Students: Agreement with Six Nations Polytechnic
Recommended Deadline: April 1SNP-University Consortium Year 1 Program (UP) delivered at Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP)
- Apply from the UP to McMaster through OUAC.
- If you have attended another post-secondary institution, a $90 supplementary application evaluation fee will be applied.
- If you are applying to McMaster from the UP, you will need to send final official transcripts from:
- High school
- Six Nations Polytechnic
- Any additional university or college work
Ogweho:weh Language Diploma Program (OLD) delivered at Six Nations Polytechnic (SNP)
- Apply from the OLD Program to McMaster through OUAC.
- If you have attended another post-secondary institution, a $90 supplementary application evaluation fee will be applied.
- Students applying to McMaster from the UP will need to send final official transcripts from:
- High school
- Six Nations Polytechnic
- Any additional university or college work
Mature Students
If you aren’t eligible for admission consideration under the high school or post-secondary categories, McMaster will assess your eligibility as a mature student, provided these conditions are satisfied:
- You have never attended university.
- You have not attended secondary school or college on a full-time basis for at least two years.
